Lab DevOps Engineer, Curriculum Labs & Engineering

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT as a Systems Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or Systems Development Engineer
• 3+ years of experience in a technical support role
• 3+ years of knowledge of one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, NodeJS, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment platforms, particularly Jenkins

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years experience with AWS technologies (CloudFormation, IAM, CloudTrail, Lambda, EC2, Cloud9, etc.)
• Familiarity with system administration tasks for both Linux and Windows operating systems
• Familiarity with version control tools like GIT
• 1+ year of experience working in the Infrastructure Security domain and implementing industry best practices

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist customers and Technical Trainers with technical issues related to running lab environments
• Provide real-time support of lab environments
• Assist in planning and testing for large-scale events
• Assist in security review of new lab environments
• Support curriculum publication tools and deployment
• Respond to issues with tools supporting curriculum publication
• Define backlog of outstanding feature requests for internal tools
• Propose and implement new tools and technologies for training curriculum
• Work cross-functionally with project stakeholders
• Some travel required (10-20%)
