Data Center Facilities Technician, Electrical/Controls

Requirements:

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in Controls/Automation in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and work rotations/shifts.
• Ability to lift and move 50 lbs of equipment under raised floors, and the required use of safety equipment.

Nice to haves:

• Industry standard certifications related to system administration.
• 5 years of experience in controls/automation, construction/technical environment, or a related field.
• Experience in data centers, hospitals, power plants, or laboratories.
• Experience in scripting language.
• Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, relays, and troubleshooting equipment.
• Ability to communicate with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work on data center systems.

What you'll be doing:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems.
• Provide daily assistance to technicians as you read blueprints and conduct tours of systems.
• Control, monitor, log, and alarm systems.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new controls equipment and systems.
