Software Engineer

Requirements

• Experience with one or more OOP languages including but not limited to: C#, Java, C/C++, JavaScript, Python
• Good system design, algorithmic skills, good knowledge of data structures
• Participated in code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed
• Experience in improving the quality and security of a product feature through testing
• Proficient problem-solving and debugging skills​

Nice to Haves

• Experience designing and delivering scalable, reliable software systems
• Practical experience with IaC(Infrastructure as a Code)
• Experience with distributed systems, cloud services, or large-scale production environments
• Experience working with SQL-like query languages
• Ability to independently drive technical solutions and contribute to system architecture discussions
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust high-quality software systems, components, and services
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following Microsoft engineering best practices
• Be available for on-call rotations
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Product Management, Design, and other Engineering teams
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and on-call rotations as needed
• Debug and resolve complex issues across development and production environments by identifying root causes and implementing durable solutions
• Continuously improve engineering processes, quality, and system reliability
• Proactively seek opportunities to enhance system and service availability, reliability, resiliency, efficiency, and performance
