Staff Software Engineer, Data Platform

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience building and designing scalable applications, tools, or distributed systems.
• Experience designing, building, documenting, and distributing robust and delightful platform solutions end-to-end.
• Deep understanding and interest in DevOps tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, AWS, Gitlab, DataDog, and more.
• Proficiency in Kafka operations and building platform tools that utilize Kafka.
• Experience in development processes and practices, eager to optimize and automate them.

Nice to Haves

• Hands-on experience with database technologies like Debezium.
• Interest in development processes and practices and automation.
• Experience in prototype, build, deploy, and operate data streaming applications.
• Experience acting as a mentor or role model to other engineers.
