Embedded Real Time Control Firmware Engineer (m/f/d)

Requirements

• Proven experience with the design and implementation of highly optimized bare metal control firmware
• Deep understanding of firmware design for constrained environments
• Good experience with silicon prototyping, emulation systems, and virtual platforms
• Proficiency in debugging embedded software systems
• English language proficiency

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor or Master or higher degree in Computer Science, Embedded System Engineering, or Electrical/Information Engineering
• Understanding of data structures for efficient reads and writes
• Understanding of design for asymmetric multiprocessing solutions
• Experience with C, C++, compilers, and build tools
• Knowledge of 5G and 4G 3GPP protocols
• Familiarity with wireless communications

What You'll Be Doing

• Design interfaces and call flows for 3GPP control processing
• Lead others toward control feature delivery and support
• Implement algorithms with minimal memory and cycles
• Build validation frameworks for implemented algorithms
• Assist in developing pre-silicon emulation systems/virtual platforms
• Evaluate and implement tools for build, formal verification, and test
