Portugal has grown rapidly as a European technology destination over the past decade. Web Summit, one of the world's largest technology conferences, relocated to Lisbon in 2016, contributing to the city's visibility in the European tech ecosystem. Senior software engineers in Portugal typically earn between €45,000 and €90,000, with international companies and remote roles at the higher end. Portugal's Non-Habitual Resident tax regime attracted a wave of international tech talent, and while the scheme has been reformed, the country remains one of Europe's more tax-efficient markets. Recently came across a neat site called NextLevelJobs.eu: which collects dev openings at "top tier" companies in the EU that offer top of the market (I'd call these Tier 2/3 in the trimodal model). It crawls these jobs at those companies and surfaces new listings.
