Software Development Engineer - Test Automation & CI, Amazon Linux

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Several years of industry experience focused on Linux.
• Several years of software development experience.
• Several years of experience with CI/CD and test automation tools.

Nice to Haves

• Experience working with the open-source community, including upstream contributions.
• Experience with distributed systems architecture and related technologies.
• Experience in designing experiments and analysis of results with statistical relevance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work with technical leaders to refine technical direction and deliver features with minimal oversight.
• Comfortable with Linux operating system, Python, Bash scripting, Linux package management, version control systems, and automated build processes.
• Write, read, review, and iterate over narrative documents and lead other engineers in implementation.
