Software Engineer, Mobile Android, Pixel Watch App

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting
• 2 years of experience with Android application development
• Experience working with Object-Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, Algorithms, Data Structures, Android Apps
• Experience working with Kotlin or Java

Nice to haves:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
• Experience developing accessible technologies
• Knowledge of the Android user interface and navigation concepts
• Knowledge of embedded software development concepts and challenges
• Knowledge of the Android software development kit performance profiling tools and optimization techniques

What you'll be doing:

• Write product or system development code
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback
• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders
