Software Engineer, Chrome sync server

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Nice to haves:

• Experience in Java and Kotlin.
• Ability to work on Backend and Infrastructures.

What you'll be doing:

• Develop the server and the batch pipelines while working on Java which involves data maintenance, efforts to prevent fraud and abuse and dashboards or backup and restore.
• Organize and develop data pipelines in collaboration with various cross-functional teams.
• Protect the user data from corruption and unauthorized access.
• Work with partner teams to extend Google's offerings for customers.
• Improve and maintain the system.
