Privacy Engineer III, Policy and Infrastructure

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience designing solutions that maintain or enhance the privacy posture of the organization.
• 2 years of experience applying privacy technologies.
• Coding experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, C++, Python, Kotlin, or Rust.

Nice to haves:

• Experience managing multiple high-priority requests.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle.
• Experience in application, library, or platform development on Android.
• Knowledge of common regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Familiarity with multiple technical privacy topics, such as encryption, permissions, anonymization, etc.

What you'll be doing:

• Design, architect, and lead implementation of privacy-enhancing solutions alongside engineering teams.
• Conduct privacy impact assessment of a single product component.
• Develop, maintain, and publish design or technical documentation.
• Focus on engineering privacy-enhancing features and infrastructure for Android.
• Guide engineering teams during product development to ensure data practices protect user privacy.
