Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Gen AI

Requirements

• 8+ years experience as an Engineer in machine learning or artificial intelligence.
• Deep knowledge of core web technologies and modern machine learning concepts like deep learning, natural language processing, large language models, reinforcement learning.
• Identify difficult problems important for the organization, collaborate across teams for best strategy resolution.
• Ability to quickly analyze and solve sophisticated software development problems spanning multiple components.
• Proven track record of technical leadership across multiple teams, shipping AI products with high collaboration and flexibility.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Passion for responsible AI, transparent algorithms, and user-centric focus.
• Experience with analyzing large-scale datasets and machine learning tools.
• Experience with experimental design, survey design, and large-scale AB testing.
• Pragmatic approach to moving projects forward within specific timeframes.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• You have previously successfully contributed to an open source project.
• Experience with the browser extensions architecture or ecosystem.
