Senior Software Safety Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (BS) (or equivalent experience) in engineering field
• 5+ years of experience in automotive or other safety relevant domains
• Background in software or safety engineering
• Strong modern C++ programming skills
• Deep understanding of ISO 26262 or other functional safety standards
• Experience working with assessors and customers in support of functional safety audits
• Ability to self-manage, show leadership, and have good interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Haves:

• Strong CUDA and Python programming skills
• Experience with AUTOSAR and CERT coding standards

What you'll be doing:

• Primary point of contact for all safety related concerns during development and proactively working to resolve identified issues
• Performing safety analysis and verification activities to confirm NVIDIA designs meet applicable safety targets, and directly contribute to products’ improvements when issues are identified
• Directly contribute to all product life cycle phases
