Senior Android Engineer

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing, building, and releasing native applications
• Innovative, team player, excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Strong sense of ownership and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams
• Deep expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Dagger. GraphQL knowledge is a plus
• Proven ability to maintain high-quality code and resiliency through techniques such as testing and code reviews
• Expertise in unit and functional UI testing, SOLID principles, and modern design patterns

Nice to Haves

• Experience with modern Android APIs, concurrency/threading, layouts, animations, client-side persistence, and architectural patterns for mobile apps
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in Agile teams
• Able to own a feature of an Android application and develop it fully

• Collaborating with backend teams to build the native application and enhance product development
• Coordinating with Product and Engineering teams to identify and solve problems efficiently
• Translating requirements to software design and creating clean, efficient code
