Software Engineer, Emerging On-Prem AI Infrastructure Security

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management)
• Experience with coding in data structures, algorithms and software design
• Experience with engineering tools and infrastructure

Nice to haves

• Experience with Unix/Linux or Windows environments, C++ development, distributed systems, machine learning, information retrieval, network programming, or developing large software systems

What you'll be doing

• Work closely with security teams inside of Google and partner and customer teams working with us
• Develop Operating System (OS) and Hardware (HW) security features for our product (mostly using C++)
• Design security solutions within the scope of the broader area
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)
