<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>JOB LEVEL</b></p>P40<p style="text-align:left"><b>EMPLOYEE ROLE</b></p>Individual Contributor<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b><span>The Opportunity </span></b><br /> </p><p>The Ethos Reliability team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work with our group.</p><p>We deploy Adobe-wide software and infrastructure technology, promoting containerization, clusterization, and continuous <span>integration/continuous</span> deployment (CI/CD). We build tools, processes, and workflows that connect and empower thousands of internal development teams.</p><p>You will work closely with other specialists to craft, develop, release, and support a container-based platform that powers the next generation of Adobe’s services. The components you develop will directly support thousands of independent services, handling millions of requests per minute. Ethos operates at a massive scale, everything must be crafted with performance, security, and stability in mind.</p><p></p><p><b><span>What you'll do?</span></b> </p><ul><li>Work directly with an experienced team of engineers to learn about our systems and make meaningful contributions</li><li>Write high-quality server-side code for scalable, secure, and performant applications</li><li>Develop infrastructure-level components that power Adobe’s compute environments</li><li>Use and contribute to numerous open-source tools and projects like Kubernetes and Docker</li><li>Operate in large-scale, cloud-based environments like AWS and Azure</li><li>Solve production and systems issues</li><li>Work as part of a fast-paced, agile process with the freedom to work independently</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>What do you need to succeed?</span></b> </p><ul><li>Experience with Python, Java, or similar programming language</li><li>Computer science background with an understanding of algorithms and data structures</li><li>Strong understanding of web and networking fundamentals and some experience with Linux</li><li>BS, MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science</li><li>Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure</li><li>Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and/or microservice architecture and containers</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Nice to haves:</span></b></p><ul><li>Experience leading technical teams</li><li>Awareness of security vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP Top 10) and secure coding practices</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Internal Opportunities</b></p><p style="text-align:left"><span>Creativity, curiosity, and constant learning are celebrated aspects of your career growth journey.
