We are looking for an Engineer to implement ground breaking web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The ideal candidate for this position loves writing code, is passionate about the web, and about finding success through a cooperative team culture. </p><p></p><p><b>What you’ll do</b></p><ul><li>Collaborate with multi-functional teams including Business owners, product management, product teams, IT, and vendors.</li><li>Lead software projects, including defining, assigning, providing technical guidance and monitoring of work performed. </li><li>Interface directly with customers to understand software issues and provide innovative solutions. </li><li>Research tools, technologies and software development processes and propose innovative, pioneering solutions. </li><li>Collaborate with other team members and contributors to the code base to properly understand problems being faced and to arrive at the best possible solutions. </li><li>Deliver development assignments as specified and within the project schedule deadlines.</li><li>Act as a custodian for the shared codebase, reviewing contributions made by other teams to ensure that proper tests are written, established conventions are followed, and backwards compatibility is maintained. </li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you need to succeed</b></p><ul><li>Major in software engineering or computer science with a BS degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of working experience</li><li>Experience with Java and server-side development</li><li>Experience with the open source foundations behind Adobe Experience Manager, including Apache Sling, Apache Maven, JCR, and OSGi.</li><li>Experience with Enterprise Content Management systems</li><li>Experience with modern front-end frameworks and preprocessors (Node.js, React, Underscore, Bootstrap, Webpack, LESS, etc)</li><li>Knowledge of semantic markup and standard methodologies for search engine optimization</li><li>Experience administering and debugging of Web servers</li><li>Experience with source control management (ideally using Git/GitHub)</li><li>Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development practices</li><li>Ability to work on contending priorities and adapt to changes in project scope</li><li>Strong communication skills, enabling work with remote teams and vendors</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Making our technology accessible to all </b></p><p>We believe everyone should have equal access to technology and its benefits.
