Software Development Engineer - RTCDP Data Activation

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial software development experience

• Proven understanding of OOP, functional programming, and software lifecycle

• Advanced code development skills in Java and Scala (or other JVM language)

• Experience developing and maintaining micro-services, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, source control tools, DevOps principles, and observability tools

• Experience with Apache Spark and Kafka is a big plus

• Able to communicate technical details clearly to all levels of the organization. Excellent written and spoken English.

• Design, build, and deliver distributed, resilient, scalable, highly available services for BigData applications

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain the services you build

• Use brand new AI tools to boost your software engineering efficiency

• Apply software quality principles by performing code reviews, assuring code coverage, and analyzing cost efficiency for developed code

• Perform on-call activities, on rotation with the rest of the team

• Collaborate with other teams, product management, and customer engineering
