Sr. Backend Software Development Engineer - Adobe Experience Platform

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent) and 10+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Very good knowledge in Java technologies and frameworks (J2SE & J2EE) and Java web applications servers
• Experience in working with infrastructure, i.e. cloud providers, containers, orchestrators, VM/Bare metal deployments, is a plus
• Experience with observability, i.e. monitoring, logging, tracing, etc.
• Have experience with crafting and developing scalable and distributed applications
• Hands-on experience in using AI tools for practical applications to improve productivity and efficiency across diverse work environments
• Experience with Big Data technologies, i.e. Hadoop/HBase/MapReduce, Kafka; operational experience with these it's a plus
• Scala and Spark knowledge is a plus

What you'll be doing:

• Design and develop distributed, scalable, highly available services
• Be involved in all the product development and delivery stages, as part as an agile engineering team working on new products
• Transform the business requirements into feature specifications
• Research on various technologies useful for the project and keep in touch with the evolution of the industry
• Improve your technical and team working skills
• Perform on-call activities, on rotation with the rest of the team
• Contribute to and promote good software engineering practices across the team
