Senior ML Engineer - Digital Media

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. PhD is a big plus.

• 7+ years of experience in the ML field with consistent results

• Strong skills and development experience with Python, Typescript, or C++

• Strong knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms

• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and analytics techniques, with practical experience in developing and deploying ML models

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions

• Proficiency in English, both writing and speaking

• Transform requirements into architectural and feature specs

• Develop high-performance, reliable, testable, and maintainable code

• Identify internal/outside technologies and when/how to use them

• Work well both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced development team

• Demonstrate features, propose and review technical solutions

• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate AI/ML components into existing software systems and ensure seamless functionality and performance

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers, review code, and ensure alignment to guidelines in software development and AI/ML engineering

• Monitor and optimize the performance of AI/ML systems, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions for scalability and efficiency improvements

Nice to Haves

• Experience working with OpenAI APIs and other model APIs (e.g., Hugging Face, Cohere) is a plus

• Good knowledge of machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Jax) is a plus

• Knowing the sweet spot between "getting it done" and building a sustainable product
