Quality Assurance Engineer, Fire TV - Berlin

Requirements

• Experience in quality assurance engineering
• Experience in automation testing
• Experience in manual testing
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
• Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality

What You'll Be Doing

• Champion the quality of features in the development pipeline using automated and manual tests
• Own authoring and execution of test plans and test cases
• Work with developers, product managers, and QA to ensure high-quality features are delivered to customers
• Propose improvements to existing processes and tools for speed, quality, and efficiency
• Understand software internals, debug problems, write automated tests, and work towards quality-focused methodologies
