Software Development Engineer, Ring (Web)

Requirements

• Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JS including frameworks like React, Angular or Vue
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (JS, TS, Java, Python, C#) for back-end development
• Experience in system design including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling
• Experience with CI/CD tools

Nice to Haves

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Industry experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
• Experience with scalable, reliable, high-performing web-services and serverless design patterns
• Experience with cloud solutions like AWS, Azure, GCP
• Experience in defining, developing, and maintaining web APIs
• Experience communicating with users, software development teams, and management

What You'll Be Doing

• Write, test, and deploy code using Amazon and AWS tools
• Write automated unit, integration, and canary tests
• Design new user interfaces and features, propose solutions to technical challenges
• Follow best practices for building scalable and resilient systems
• Work with stakeholders and designers to maintain and improve services
• Contribute to estimating and planning work in a Scrum team
• Participate in oncall support and ensure operational excellence
