Quality Assurance Engineer, Fire TV

Requirements

• Experience in quality assurance engineering
• Experience in automation testing
• Experience in manual testing
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
• Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality

What You'll Be Doing

• Champion the quality of features using both automated and manual tests
• Author and execute test plans and test cases
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA to ensure high-quality features
• Propose improvements to processes and tools for increased speed and efficiency
• Understand software internals, debug problems, and write automated tests
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive software development towards quality focused methodologies
