Swift Debugger/Compiler Engineer (Linux)

Requirements

• Experience in developing software tools (for example: compilers, debuggers, language runtimes, profilers, or binary translation tools)
• Excellent software engineering, testing, and debugging skills

Nice to Haves

• C++ expertise
• Experience with Compiler and/or Debugger development
• Experience with development for/on Linux
• Swift expertise
• Experience with contributing to Open Source projects

What You'll Be Doing

• Take a holistic look at Swift debugging workflows
• Implement support for new language features
• Improve platform support, specifically for the open-source Swift Linux toolchain
• Work on making it easier to distribute the Swift language plugin on Linux
• Make changes to both the compiler and debugger
• Collaborate with the Swift and LLVM open-source communities
