3D Software Engineer - Apple Vision Pro

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in software development (preferably 3D and/or realtime software)
• Strong C/C++ skills
• Excellent 3D math and linear algebra skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong communication, teamwork and cross-team collaboration skills
• Fast technical uptake and ability to quickly switch context
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, CV/ML, Game Technology, Math, Physics, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Background or experience in Optics or Vision Science
• Solid understanding of software engineering techniques, methodologies and practices
• Attention to detail, passion and the ability to master new applications and technologies quickly
• Interest and/or experience in SwiftUI and UI development
• Swift, Xcode, Objective-C
• Performance optimization

• Working with other SW and HW engineers in a fast-paced forward-looking role
• Shaping new product features to enhance the visual product experience
• Learning about different components across Apple’s product stack
• Working with technologies like RealityKit and ARKit
• Collaborating cross-functionally to tackle highly interesting and ambitious problems in the AR/VR space
