UI TypeScript Engineer at Apple Services Engineering

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript runtime environments
• Ability to deliver clean, maintainable, thoroughly tested UI code with strong performance
• Fluency in English

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of Node.js
• Experience with Smart TVs or set-top boxes
• Familiarity with JavaScript memory and CPU profiling tools
• Understanding of adaptive streaming technologies like HLS or DASH
• Experience with testing frameworks like Chai and Mocha
• Creative eye for graphics and animations
• Ability to seek out and resolve specification ambiguities independently
• Enthusiasm for demo-driven culture and iterative design
