Software Engineer - Image Algorithms

Requirements

• Excellent programming skills (preferably in Swift, Objective-C and Metal)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Practical experience with Core Image, Metal or other GPU image processing technologies
• Practical experience with developing image processing algorithms
• An understanding of colour science
• An ability to devise and understand mathematical solutions to image processing problems

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of the aesthetics of visual imaging
• A deep understanding of and experience with photography or videography
• Relevant industry experience
• Fundamental understanding of camera systems and sensors
• Experience with developing for Apple platforms
• MS/PhD degree in CS/Mathematics or equivalent experience

• Creating novel user experiences on iOS, iPadOS & macOS
• Working with state-of-the-art image algorithms and machine learning models
• Collaborating with cross-functional partners, stakeholders, and development teams
