Embedded Real Time Control Firmware Engineer (m/f/d)

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with the design and implementation of bare metal control firmware
• Deep understanding of designing for highly constrained firmware environments
• Proficiency in C and C++, compilers, build and source code control tools
• Experience with computer architecture and high-speed communication subsystems
• Experience with silicon prototyping, emulation systems, and virtual platforms
• Proficiency in debugging embedded software systems
• English language proficiency

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. in Embedded System Engineering, Electrical/Information Engineering, or Computer Science
• Familiarity with UARTs, JTAG, and oscilloscopes
• Experience with data structures for efficient reads and writes
• Understanding of asymmetric multiprocessing solutions
• Experience with OS application-level development and scripting in Python or Perl
• Understanding of 5G and 4G 3GPP protocols
• Familiarity with wireless communications

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing interfaces and call flows for 3GPP control processing
• Leading others toward control feature delivery and support
• Implementing algorithms with minimal memory and cycles for real-time deadlines
• Building validation frameworks for algorithm validation
• Assisting in developing pre-silicon emulation systems/virtual platforms
• Evaluating and implementing tools for build, formal verification, and test
