AR/VR Systems Engineer - Apple Vision Pro

Requirements

• Industry experience in software development (preferably 3D and/or realtime software)
• Strong C/C++ skills
• Excellent 3D math and linear algebra skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong communication, teamwork and cross-team collaboration skills
• Fast technical uptake and ability to quickly switch context
• BS/MS in Computer Science, CV/ML, Game Technology, Math, Physics, or a related field

Nice to Haves

• Background or experience in Optics or Vision Science
• Solid understanding of software engineering techniques, methodologies and practices
• Attention to detail, passion and the ability to master new applications and technologies quickly
• Interest and/or experience in SwiftUI and UI development
• Swift, Xcode, Objective-C
• Performance optimization

What You'll Be Doing

• Work with other SW and HW engineers to shape new product features
• Enhance the visual product experience for customers
• Learn about different components across Apple’s product stack
• Use technologies like RealityKit and ARKit
• Collaborate cross-functionally to tackle problems in the AR/VR space
