Software Lifecycle Engineering - Software Engineer

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Strong proficiency in a modern programming language (Java preferred)
• Solid experience automating Software Lifecycle processes

Nice to Haves

• Experience using AI/ML software engineering tools
• Experience building tools for engineers, backed by distributed systems at large scale
• Experience working with Slack
• Familiarity with UI technologies like Javascript and Typescript
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience using data technologies like Postgres, Cassandra & Kafka
• Willingness to productively challenge assumptions
• A detail-oriented mindset, showing pride in the work you deliver

What You'll Be Doing

• Create solutions that enable individual developers to focus on their priorities
• Engage with developers to determine potential designs, refine them, and create functional solutions
• Build solutions at a scale and level of reliability that meets Apple's demands
• Provide monitoring, testing, and support to ensure solutions are always in service
