Embedded Real Time Control Firmware Engineer (m/f/d)

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with the design and implementation of bare metal control firmware.
• Deep understanding of designing for a highly constrained firmware environment.
• Proficiency in C and C++, compilers, build and source code control tools.
• Experience with silicon prototyping, emulation systems, and virtual platforms.
• Proficiency in debugging embedded software systems.
• English language proficiency.

Nice to Haves

• Bachelor, Master, or Ph.D. in Embedded System Engineering, Electrical/Information Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Familiarity with UARTs, JTAG, and oscilloscopes.
• Understanding of data structures for efficient reads and writes.
• Knowledge of asymmetric multiprocessing solutions.
• Experience with mainstream OS application-level development and scripting in Python or Perl.
• Understanding of 5G and 4G 3GPP protocols.
• Familiarity with wireless communications.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing interfaces and call flows for 3GPP control processing.
• Leading control feature delivery and support.
• Implementing algorithms with real-time constraints.
• Building validation frameworks for implemented algorithms.
• Assisting in the development of pre-silicon systems and using them for design and verification.
• Evaluating and implementing tools for building, verification, and testing.
