Machine Learning Research Engineer

Requirements

• Experience researching, developing, and implementing image processing algorithms
• Deep understanding of computational photography, camera optics, image formation and image rendering processes
• Good understanding of in-camera processing and machine learning
• Strong coding skills - preferably in Python and MATLAB

Nice to Haves

• Experience in productizing or publishing your research results in fields such as image processing, computer graphics, and color science
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

What You'll Be Doing

• Leverage your research background and knowledge of image processing and computer vision to design, develop, and improve Apple imaging technologies
• Develop ideas and concepts into commercially viable algorithms
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in computer vision, machine learning, and computational photography, both in academia and in industry
• Leverage your knowledge to work and influence Apple's products, specifically as they relate to our camera systems
