Internship - Cellular Protocol Engineer

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Masters or higher degree in Computer Science or Electronics & Communication.
• Proven knowledge of current cellular communication standards: 5G (NR) and 4G (LTE).
• Applied Machine Learning expertise solving real world problems.

Nice to Haves

• Good experience with Python.
• Familiarity with data analysis for AIML.
• Familiarity with physical layer (L1) concepts in cellular systems.
• Excellent software development and debugging skills including design, programming (C, C++, script) and debugging.

What You'll Be Doing

• Enhancing the current performance of certain features or introducing new features in cellular modem software and firmware.
• Exploring applications of generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) for intelligent tools to accelerate engineering workflows.
• Programming using C/C++/Python and Machine Learning to contribute to development and verification teams.
• Presenting to Wireless Technologies & ecosystem leadership at the end of the internship.
