Software Engineer - Apple JDK

Requirements

• BS in computer science or equivalent
• Experience programming in C, C++ and Java
• Excellent debugging, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Knowledge of compilers, parsers, and interpreters
• Knowledge of assembly-level programming, preferably with the ARM64 instruction set

Nice to Haves

• Hands-on experience with VMs with just-in-time compilers (e.g. JavaScript engines and JVMs)
• Knowledge of memory allocators and garbage collectors
• Knowledge of fuzzing, security architecture, and memory safety

What You'll Be Doing

• Help secure the Java virtual machine
• Work to deliver secure services for all Apple Java services
• Ensure new features are implemented securely
• Respond to and address Java security work across Services
