Software Development Engineer, AWS Resource Explorer, AWS Cloud Operations

Requirements

• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science or equivalent

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the architecture, design, and code for AWS resource discovery services
• Use latest native-AWS technology, low-latency techniques and best engineering practices to build extra-large scale, highly available search and discovery services
• Own and continuously improve all operational metrics and automation tools for your team’s software
• Execute against project plans and delivery commitments
• Coach and mentor junior engineers
