Requirements

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

• Design and implement major database components for Amazon Aurora
• Work on the project of Aurora Limitless Databases
• Focusing on query processing for distributed database systems
• Develop highly performant communication protocols between nodes in a distributed system
