Software Development Engineer, AWS DNS

Requirements

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms and their performance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Strong Network and Systems troubleshooting skills

What You'll Be Doing

• Architect, build, and operate large-scale DNS platforms, configuration management systems, and real-time system status APIs
• Focusing on the security, performance, availability, and scalability of Internet-scale services
• Designing and developing highly visible products and being involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle
• Interacting with many other engineering teams across Amazon
