Software Development Engineer, Public Sector Customer Engineering

Requirements

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent and / or relevant professional or military experience

• Design, develop, test, and deploy well-architected software
• Feel a real sense of achievement from completing and delivering projects in less time than you thought possible
• Get hands-on with a range of technologies and practice a range of disciplines: back-end, front-end, DevOps, machine learning, data science, data architecture
• Collaborate with customers through full engagements; learn about their business challenges, design and develop prototypes, showcase functionality in demos, and see the difference made when solutions are deployed
• Work with the latest AWS services and open-source technologies to build solutions
