Network Engineer - Platform Engineering

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of networking in routing & switching, TCP/IP stack, BGP, EVPN, and VXLAN
• Experience with building and maintaining network automation stacks (preferably in Python) and Unix
• Experience with zero-touch provisioning and automated configuration management
• Experience with monitoring network quality, availability, and performance
• Experience with building and operation of large data center networks
• Experience with building and operation of private cloud network virtualization
• Experience in incident and vendor management

What You'll Be Doing

• Building and operating a multi-vendor network in multiple regions and data centers
• Reduce operational work and improve business metrics with an automation-first mindset
• Own the network and operation of several thousands of devices end-to-end with security in mind
• Work with the business and users to define needs, identify problems, evaluating potential solutions, demonstrating, and implementing improvements
