Data Engineer II - Multi vertical search platform

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of professional experience as a Software Developer/Data Engineer
• Degree in a quantitative field
• Experience developing data pipelines in Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with schema design and data modeling
• Knowledge of Spark, CDC, Kafka, Cassandra, Airflow, Snowflake, DBT or equivalent tools
• Experience with Data Warehousing and ETL/ELT pipelines
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

Nice to Haves:

• Experience working with the Hadoop Ecosystem

What You'll Be Doing:

• Developing, performance, quality, and scaling of data pipelines
• Rapidly developing next-generation scalable, flexible, and high-performance data pipelines
• End-to-end ownership of data quality in core datasets and data pipelines
• Providing tools that improve data quality company-wide
• Serving as the main point of contact for technical and business stakeholders regarding data engineering issues
