Data Engineer II-1

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 3–5 years’ experience in data engineering or backend development
• Proficient in Python, Java, or Scala; skilled with version control, CI/CD, and container-based deployment
• Hands-on experience with distributed data technologies (e.g., Kafka, Spark, Hive, Snowflake, Airflow, Hadoop)
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, quality assurance, schema evolution, and event-driven architecture
• Experience designing and owning production-grade, scalable data pipelines
• Understanding of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR/CCPA) and marketing/data personalization systems

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, implement, and maintain robust batch and streaming data pipelines for marketing use cases
• Translate product and marketing requirements into scalable, privacy-compliant solutions
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and ML teams to deliver high-quality data
• Promote data standardization and governance, mentor team members, and drive continuous improvements in system architecture
