Senior Software Developer

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2 - 4 years of relevant experience
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development
• Experience building and operating large-scale systems
• Solid understanding of basic systems operations (disk, network, operating systems, etc)
• Proficiency in Go, Python, C++, or other statically typed languages

Nice to Haves

• A strong background in distributed storage systems or databases
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or other similar Container orchestration platforms
• Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure and/or GCP)
• Experience running production cloud services

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop a high-availability infrastructure and tooling for Flink, ensuring it is resilient, scalable, and can help us operate services reliably
• Play a crucial role in designing, developing and operationalizing high performance, scalable, reliable and resilient systems
• Independently drive execution of software projects to deliver complex projects in production with a focus on quality
• Troubleshoot issues and improve operations for complex technical stack that spans all the 3 clouds
