Software Engineer - Backend

Requirements

• BS (or higher) in Computer Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of production level experience in one of: Java, Scala, C++, or similar language
• Experience developing large-scale distributed systems
• Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures
• Good knowledge of SQL

What You'll Be Doing

• Work with your team to build infrastructure and products for the Databricks platform at scale
• Address challenges such as distributed systems, service architecture, monitoring, workflow orchestration, and developer experience
• Deliver reliable and high-performance services and client libraries for storing and accessing large amounts of data on cloud storage backends
• Build reliable, scalable services like Scala, Kubernetes, and data pipelines like Spark, Databricks
