Software Engineer - Streams Team

Requirements:

• Operate independently, experiment methodically, iterate rapidly, and embrace failure
• Communicate effectively, gather requirements, and lead complex technical initiatives
• Willingness to learn new languages and technologies
• Deliver software solutions in Java or Golang
• Experience with building/operating large scale stateful systems
• Familiarity with distributed systems concepts

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operate a bleeding edge Kafka deployment with exceptional reliability
• Develop a high-performance streaming platform
• Integrate open source solutions with internal systems
• Optimize low-level kafka client behavior
• Drive complex projects, ensure timely delivery and high-quality results
• Mentor junior team members and interns

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with large-scale streaming systems like Kafka
• Familiarity with C++ or Rust
