Senior Software Engineer - Data Reliability

Requirements:

• You have a BS/MS/PhD in a Computer Science, Engineering, or related scientific field or at least 5 years of professional experience
• You have production experience with distributed systems, e.g. Zookeeper, Cassandra, Postgres, FoundationDB, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis, MongoDB
• You are mastering at least one programming or scripting language, e.g. Go, Java, Rust, C/C++
• You want to work in a fast, high-growth startup environment that respects its engineers and customers
• You can design simple and performant architecture to solve problems at high scale

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure needed to support orders of magnitude more customers while minimizing issues and controlling costs
• Investigate and fix issues or bottlenecks, whether it’s deep in the platform code or in the client application
• Support the services and datastores owned 24x7
• Build tooling and automation to run the infrastructure with minimal human intervention
• Work with developers to design data models and advise on datastores options
