Staff Library Software Engineer - Java

Requirements:

• Experienced Java/C/C++ developer.
• Experience with the OpenJDK Java runtime.
• Familiarity with JVM ins and outs (GC, JIT, bytecode, etc).
• Proficient in writing clean, correct, well-tested, and performant Java/C++ code.
• Strong focus on performance measurement and optimization.
• Quality-driven with a strong testing discipline.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with JNI.
• Prior experience in writing a Java Agent.
• Experience with byte-buddy, asm, or other JVM instrumentation libraries.
• Knowledge of other JVM runtimes such as J9 or GraalVM.
• Experience in performance optimization of applications, frameworks, and libraries.
