Staff Engineer - Agent Runtimes

Requirements:

• You are a significantly experienced software engineer with a background in backend engineering (Go, Python, Rust, C++, etc.) and software performance optimization.
• Strong experience of 10+ years, with exposure to creating high-performance on-premise solutions.
• Ability to lead large cross-team initiatives in a security, speed, and reliability-focused environment.
• Experience in bringing best practices from the software engineering world and adapting them to the Agent.
• Strong communication skills, especially on complex technical topics.
• Enjoy mentoring and coaching other engineers.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and implement internal Agent libraries and frameworks for consistent user experience.
• Develop and maintain core functionality for runtimes used by the Agent.
• Investigate, develop, and maintain core architectures for a small, fast, and composable Agent.
• Solve complex cross-team projects/problems with multiple stakeholders.
• Implement new approaches for reducing Agent footprint and improving performance.
• Lead and guide other engineers' growth and development.
• Collaborate closely with partner teams depending on the Agent.
• Support Agent adoption and feature growth.
