An Engineer with 4+ years of experience in data modeling and visualization using Business Intelligence tools like Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or Superset
Proficient in SQL, statistical modeling (e.g. using R) and machine learning fundamentals
Familiarity with Data Lakes or Data Warehouses such as Snowflake, Trino, Redshift, or BigQuery
A clear, concise communicator that works well with others, able to distill complex technical concepts into understandable language
Excited to work in a fast, high-growth startup environment and thrive on both autonomy and collaboration
Comfortable with high-quality software engineering using languages such as Python, Scala, Go, or R
Nice to Haves:
You have experience using the command line and Git
You have some experience with Spark, Flink, or Beam or similar big data processing frameworks
What You'll Be Doing:
Collaborate with various teams to understand their workflows, systems, and unit economics
Conduct exploratory work and experiments to identify areas for improvement in resource utilization
Analyze data to detect inefficiencies, anomalies, and outliers that require attention
Develop visualizations to communicate findings effectively to other stakeholders
Become a subject matter expert on internal cost datasets and integrate them with revenue data
Identify successful patterns or practices within the company and work to replicate these elsewhere
