Senior Statistical Machine Learning Engineer

Requirements:

• Deep understanding of statistical methods and classical machine learning techniques
• Experience in delivering customer-facing, large-scale analysis experiences
• Proficiency in measuring and optimizing algorithms and code for performance
• Enjoy working in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment

Nice to Haves:

• Experience implementing statistical heuristics and sampling methods
• Hands-on experience with generative AI
• Proficiency in optimizing performance of applications, frameworks, or libraries
• Java development experience

What You'll Be Doing:

• Own and evolve the continuous profiler insights and recommendations
• Analyze and evaluate the performance of insights and recommendations
• Develop new insights and recommendations
• Collaborate with various Datadog AI Teams
• Collaborate with profiling teams to design and implement innovative product features
• Advise on algorithms and techniques to balance statistical accuracy and computational constraints
