Senior Software Engineer - 12 Month FTC

Requirements:

• Pride in readable, well-designed, well-tested software
• Experience writing web-based applications in any language, and an interest in learning (Go, Ruby/Rails, Python, Scala, or Rust)
• Familiarity and practical experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Familiarity and practical experience with web architecture at scale (20krpm and above)
• Familiarity and practical experience with "NoSQL" data backends and others such as Redis, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, Memcache

What you'll be doing:

• Improving code structure, architecture, and code review within the team
• Maximizing team efficiency through project planning and collaboration with other disciplines
• Promoting visibility, operational readiness, and health of team systems
• Building relationships with other engineering teams and identifying collaboration opportunities
• Leading the hiring process, conducting engineering interviews, and supporting team members' growth
