Analytics Platform Engineer

Requirements

• Extensive experience with BI platforms (Looker desirable, but not essential if transferable)
• Technical skills in areas such as SQL, Python, data modelling, and platform administration
• A user-first mindset: motivated by enabling others to be more effective with data
• Curiosity and adaptability, with a passion for exploring new technologies including AI-powered analytics
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work across diverse teams with varying data needs
• Expertise in modern, agile software development processes

What You'll Be Doing

• Playing a pivotal role in shaping and running Deliveroo’s data and analytics platforms
• Focusing on ensuring BI solutions empower analysts, data scientists, engineers, and business teams
• Developing and optimizing the Looker platform
• Contributing to shaping the wider BI strategy and exploring emerging technologies
• Designing and maintaining infrastructure, working on low-latency data pipelines, building automated solutions, and contributing to technical design discussions
